About the Job
We are looking for an ambitious Senior Test Analyst to drive our projects in Berlin. Your daily tasks will include the development and enhancement of an international career portal. You will work closely with the team and assist with the preparation of test plans, as well as the testing of software in line with company guidelines and standards. You are willing to work in an international environment with worldwide software roll-outs, and daily technical challenges don’t hinder you but rather inspire your drive and curiosity. About You
After earning your degree in a technical subject or an equivalent professional education, you have gained minimum 2 year(s) of relevant work experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing.
You have gained extensive knowledge dealing with the software life cycle with previous focus on Software as a Service platform. Furthermore, not only do you have the ability to configure and maintain static analysis tools, but also the capability to prepare and acquire test data, but also to create test case specifications and test plans. You will implement tests from design to execution, evaluate the results, and document the outliers. Moreover, you are comfortable maintaining high quality and accuracy of software releases, which would include the preparation of test plans and scripts for each individual software component and are familiar with the execution of test cases for desktop and mobile. Also you have the experience with QA-Tools like Testlink, Jenkins and Jira are a considerable advantage as well as experience with the KANBAN and/or SCRUM development processes.
The considerable advantage will be given to the candidates with relevant technical expertise in the following:
ISTQB certification
Proficient in automated testing techniques and continuous integration
Familiarity with the execution of test cases for desktop and mobile
Technologies: PHP, XML, HTML & XHTML, CSS, Javascript, Ruby
Experience of using source control systems like GIT and SVN
